กล้วยไม้แวนด้าเป็นพืชเมืองร้อนที่สามารถพบได้ทั่วไปในภูมิภาคเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ เติบโตได้ดีหากมีแสงแดดที่เพียงพอ กับความชื้น และอากาศ ที่เหมาะสม สามารถนำมาปลูกเป็นไม้ประดับบ้าน และสวนได้หลายแบบ ความสวยงามและการที่ดูแลง่ายของกล้วยไม้แวนด้า จึงไม่แปลกเลยที่จะกลายเป็นที่นิยมปลูกกัน จนมีการปลูกกันเป็นสวนกล้วยไม้แวนด้า เพื่อขายโดยเฉพาะเยอะมาก ๆ ขายทั้งในประเทศ และส่งออก กันเลยทีเดียว

ในการดูแลสวนกล้วยไม้สายพันธุ์แวนด้า
1.   เรื่องความชื้น
กล้วยไม้แวนด้าชอบความชื้น ควรรดน้ำบ่อยๆ แต่ต้องป้องกันไม่ให้น้ำขังที่ราก เพราะจะทำให้รากเน่าได้
วิธีที่ดีคือ พ่นน้ำให้เป็นฝอยๆ เพื่อเพิ่มความชื้นให้กับราก และใบในช่วงเช้าจะดีที่สุด
2.   เรื่องของแสง
กล้วยไม้แวนด้าต้องการแสงแดดในปริมาณที่พอเหมาะ แสงที่เหมาะสำหรับกล้วยไม้แวนด้าคือแสงที่แพร่กระจาย หรือแสงรำไร ดังนั้นควรหลีกเลี่ยงแสงแดดตรงโดยตรงในช่วงเวลา 10.00-15.00 น. ค่ะ
3.   อาหารและปุ๋ย
การให้ปุ๋ยสามารถให้ได้สัปดาห์ละ 1 ครั้ง โดยสามารถให้ปุ๋ยเคมีสูตร 15-15-15, 8-24-24 ผสมน้ำรด ปริมาณ 1 ช้อนโต๊ะต่อน้ำ 10 ลิตร หรือ ปุ๋ยสูตร 10-52-17 ฉีดพ่นทางใบ ปริมาณ 50 กรัมต่อน้ำ 20 ลิตร หรือตามปริมาณบอกข้างกล่องของปุ๋ยแต่ละชนิด
ปุ๋ยที่มีไนโตรเจนสูงเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการเจริญเติบโตของใบ ในขณะที่ปุ๋ยที่มีฟอสฟอรัสและโพแทสเซียมสูงจะช่วยเสริมสร้างดอก
4.   เรื่องของอุณหภูมิ
อุณหภูมิที่เหมาะสำหรับกล้วยไม้แวนด้าอยู่ระหว่าง 18-30 องศาเซลเซียส ควรป้องกันกล้วยไม้ไม่ให้โดนลมแรง และอยู่ในอุณหภูมิที่ต่ำเกินไป
5.   การตัดตกแต่งกิ่งของกล้วยไม้แวนด้า
ในการตัดตกแต่งกิ่งและรากที่เน่าออกเป็นการช่วยให้กล้วยไม้มีการเจริญเติบโตที่ดีขึ้น

การที่ดอกกล้วยไม้แวนด้าจะสวยงามขึ้นได้นั้น อันนี้ก็ต้องขึ้นกับการดูแลเอาใจใส่ของผู้ปลูกเลี้ยงด้วยว่ามีการดูแลเลี้ยงดูที่ถูกต้องรึเปล่า ยิ่งเป็นสวนกล้วยไม้สายพันธุ์แวนด้าก็จะต้องเอาใจใส่และดูแลเป็นพิเศษ เพราะการปลูกเป็นสวนมีไว้เพื่อจัดจำหน่ายการดูแลต่าง ๆ จะต้องดีและทั่วถึงจึงจะได้ดอกกล้วยไม้ที่สวยงามพร้อมในการจำหน่ายค่ะ
